This place doesn’t seem to get a lot of attention, but it does have some nice touches. It’s literally right next to a park. There is an awesome art store at the top which is filled with local artists, and a world-class plaque full of memorobilia from a local restaurant… Wonder if you can buy the stuff it displays? The inside is sort of long and drawn-down, shops are kind of drab and the whole thing is tiny, tiny, tiny. It’s totally awesome if you want somewhere quiet to rest with peace-of-mind.

This museum is included with price of visiting the main KY state museum down the hill. Two stories of military history of KY in the building; oldest displays on the first floor and WW1 and later on 2d floor. The state as well as KY citizens are featured (such as only KY solider awarded Medal of Honor in WW1). Limited amount of free parking next to building. We took about an hour to tour the exhibits. We are from TX and was impressed with the effort KY put into honoring its state and citizens.

We had great soups, salads, sides, and a large variety of hot entrees. Then delicious coffee to wash down a selection of fabulous desserts. We enjoyed the fellowship with a couple from Florida who sat down with us. Low prices, great food, very wonderful staff. I’ll be back and send some family members too.
