Not secure! It took my dogs less than 30 seconds to find places they could squeeze under the fence.

I simply can’t say enough good things about this campground. The staff are WONDERFUL. We stayed in a premium spot and the Missus loved the glider-rocker. Nice touch! The facilities were top-notch and we had zero issues. Convenient relative to Georgetown, and a very pleasant surprise overall. Please keep up the good work, as we will definitely be back!

Rachel was very nice and friendly. It’s a rustic campground and very peaceful. Surrounded by woods. An escape from the city. We had to change from a 50 amp to a 30 amp, due to camper change, and was refunded the difference. Rachel communicated with us via email and cell phone. This place was a wonderful campground with water and electric. Was not expecting sewer, because we were told , no sewer. This is not a high priced RV resort, it’s a peaceful, wooded and cleared campground. The bathhouse was clean and the showers were private. We will definitely come here again. Close to the Ark Encounter.

Always enjoy staying here. They have been working on the trails and keep them mowed as required. The kids like the playground and the campground is great for the bicycles. There was an easy hike through the woods over to the Lock 1 on the Kentucky River. Chatted with the Lock Master and hiked back, surprisingly nice trail.

Love the campground, the activities are a nice touch. The nature center is small but the lady that was running it was so nice and informative. The staff in the little store were all friendly and helpful. We rented kayaks and had a great time. We pitch our tent here annually.

Very quiet and relaxing. The boat speed restrictions make it a great place to hang out. We had kayaks and had tons of room to move. It was definitely an awesome trip and I’ve only heard good things from friends and coworkers about visiting.

well, what can I say… so much potential for this park! Upon entering, a downhill slope was muddy and rutted and hard to find footing. Once at the lake, there was a short section of cut grass that allowed for easy travel, but once I tried to circumnavigate the lake, it became too overgrown to go through, with all sorts of low growth that touched and pricked and cut into my beautiful legs. 😉 I could only make it 1/8 of the way around before realizing I needed to turn back. With some TLC, this could be a gem of a park, but much needs to be done to get it there.

The only thing I have ever gone to Lloyd’s Wildlife Refuge for was to shoot. And it is a terrific place to do that! I’ve been to the rifle range, and it is very good. And I have been skeet shooting there, and they have a terrific facility for that as well. It did not make me shoot any better though.:-)
