We were booked in & registered quickly. The front desk was awesome. Service with a smile all the way to the end. Management did a wonderful job. Only problem: An hour before check-out time, housekeeping did not knock on our door before they’d used their own key to enter our room to clean & change the bedding. We were startled & caught off guard. Our group decided to spend one more night before we’d driven back to Illinois. That night we had placed the chain on our door. 1 & 1/2 hours before check-out we had been awakened by a loud noise “bam!” It was housekeeping again trying to enter our room before check out time, but she couldn’t enter this time due to the chain. My daughter and I jumped up, hearts racing, scared to death & looking around the room. She slowly opened the door to see what was going on and there they were (housekeeping) open & closing doors as they walked down the hallway with a cleaning cart. Everything else was wonderful except almost having a heart attack.

A reasonably clean, affordable hotel convenient to the Ark Encounter. The building is showing its age, needing some maintenance & updates. There is no elevator but it’s only 2 stories.

Horrible. I’m sorry, it’s a rarity I rate someone low as I’m a positive person and I try to find the good in everything, but just keep driving. There was a bad smell in the place, a hole in drywall as we walked through hall to get room. If you need elevator, there isn’t one, it’s if u have disability or copd, keep driving for better place. No coffee maker in room, no breakfast, etc. Desk said there’s coffee in morning next to the check-in area. The carafes barely worked and the coffee was lukewarm and yuck. I feel I should have been charged the 39.99 red roof rate but they scalp ya at this exit because it is near Noah’s ark site which we didn’t see, just headed to TN. Had we known, we would have forced selves to push it harder longer. Everything else was sold out. I have zero problem paying over 100/night for a night sleep..but we didn’t get that. Too worried about what we were catching in the uncomfy bed.

Clean room and comfortable bed but overpriced due to proximity of Ark Encounter. Smokers bench next to entrance. Unlit cigarette dangling from employees mouth as trash is gathered in lobby.
