Excellent place to take little ones hiking for the first time. There are many trails that are a perfect length for beginners or ones for seasoned hikers. The bison trail was super fun for our little ones because you can see the bison up close. There’s a neat little visitor center with some history of the area and artifacts. There are picnic tables for lunch and a playground that the kids loved playing on. Excellent park and so close to the city! Definitely looking into camping there soon!

This is third time we have camped here and we love this state park. The host & hostess are wonderful! Nice clean place and our lot was a back in. Will absolutely stay here when we come back to see the Ark in Williamstown, KY and B& B Dinner Cruise. Would highly recommend this park!

Ok this place is fantastic but don’t expect to come and have cell service. I was happy about this others not so much. The grounds are beautifully kept, the staff at the museum are very friendly. We took the walk to visit the bison, nice walk and they’re lovely.

Great park. Spacious sites. Water sometimes further away than most, between 2 sites. We used 2 hoses. Great for summer camping with pool. Nice museum and cool bison.
