The four lakes of Grant County provide numerous recreational activities for residents: Williamstown Lake (300 acres), Bullock Pen Lake (134 acres), Lake Boltz (92 acres), and Corinth Lake (96 acres). Bullock Pen Lake, the water source for the Bullock Pen Water District, is a 134 acre man-made reservoir owned and operated by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Bullock Pen Lake near Crittenden is a Department owned lake located in Grant and Boone counties. It contains 134 acres and features largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish fishing. This lake also provides approximately 55% of the water supply for the Bullock Pen Water District.
