The Partnership strengthens each community by building effective real-world programs and strategies that focus on school improvement efforts while addressing the need for a more highly skilled and talented workforce.
The NewCities Initiative is an intensive effort between the NewCities Institute and a community to engage the community’s citizens to build a roadmap for the future. It is more than visioning and strategic planning. It is more than facilitation. The NewCities Initiative is about process and substantive change that ensures the long-term vitality of a community long after we’re gone. The NewCities Initiative is about building economic and social prosperity from the bottom up. We engage, listen, empower, envision, distill values, innovate, and act! That’s the NewCities “way” to unleash the citizens’ power for creating social and economic wealth under the new rules of the 21st century global economy.
